Looking to indulge in some well-deserved relaxation without the hefty price tag? These high-end spas in London offer the perfect city retreat.

If you’re already in need of a reset just a few weeks into 2025, don’t worry — you’re not alone. January was a long month, and that fresh new year motivation has certainly begun to fade.

But when you finally get around to treating yourself to a spa day, the sky-high prices of the capital’s fanciest offerings can be a bit disheartening.

Luckily, there are a few good spots in London where you can pamper yourself without breaking the bank. Here’s our pick of the best.

Luxury London spa days can be more affordable than you might think

1. Pan Pacific London, Liverpool Street, from 120

You can get six hours’ access to the SENSORY Wellbeing Floor for £120 at the Pan Pacific hotel spa in Liverpool Street, with a glass of Champagne included. You’ll find a sauna, steam room, large infinity pool overlooking Bishopsgate Plaza and what the hotel spa claims to be ‘the most technologically advanced hotel gym in the UK’.

Or, if you book a treatment between Monday to Friday, for which prices start at £150, you’ll also get access to the spa facilities. There are even treatments for children aged six to 16 starting at £100 (worth remembering for Mother’s Day).

Many spas include access to the facilities when you book a treatment

2. Cloud Twelve, Notting Hill, from £60

Voted one of London’s best day spas by British Vogue, Cloud Twelve in Notting Hill provides a space for those looking to focus on self-care and holistic wellness. It costs £60 for access to the thermal suite, which includes an ice bath, steam room, rose sauna and salt room, all of which are designed to help balance energy and calm the nervous system. Perhaps its most unusual offering is the Himalayan salt chamber, intended to purify the lungs and support overall wellness

The self-professed ‘wellness centre, lifestyle club and spa’ offers a variety of treatments, such as facials, body scrubs, raindrop therapy and sauna sessions, with prices starting at around £95. For an additional £30, you can use the spa’s facilities before or after treatments.

3. Mandara Spa at Park Plaza London Hotel, Westminster Bridge, from £99

Mandara Spa is the onsite spa at four-star hotel Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge. Designed around traditional Balinese healing practices, the spa recently introduced a new selection of treatments, including facials, massages or a combination of both, starting at £99 for 50 minutes until 28 February. While you’re there, you can make use of the hotel’s wellness facilities, including a heated indoor pool, steam room and sauna.

Treatment options include the warm stone massage, designed to ease muscle tension, the Balinese massage, which blends stretching, skin rolling and pressure techniques to relieve stress, and the ELEMIS Facial.

 4. Montcalm East Hotel, Shoreditch, from £45

Bokeh by Montcalm East is the London hotel’s onsite spa inspired by its creative Shoreditch location. Treatments incorporate wellness products from partnered brands Temple Spa, OTO and Grown Alchemist, focusing on skincare, oils and botanicals, and anti-ageing products.

You can book a spa access pass to enjoy the pool, whirlpool bath and high-tech fitness centre for two hours for £45. Treatments start from £50, with plenty of options to enhance your experience, including sound therapy or quartz stone facial massages. The spa covers an impressive range of treatments, from deep tissue and Swedish massages to LED facials and cryotherapy. Plus, you can even book a tarot reading or spiritual healing ritual session.

Experience the Russian banya tradition here in London

5. Banya No. 1, Hoxton, from £90

Inspired by the Russian banya tradition, Banya No. 1 offers a unique thermal experience designed to rejuvenate both body and mind. Alternating between intense heat and refreshing cold, a banya is intended to help invigorate the body, boost circulation, detoxify the system and leave you feeling revitalised.

Delight in the signature Parenie ritual, a traditional thermal massage performed in a Russian sauna using bundles of birch, oak and eucalyptus twigs, followed by a cold plunge in an ice bath. Starting from £90, packages include treatments like massages, herbal tea, mud masks and organic scrubs, or you can book a shorter treatment from just £25. The spa also offers women-only and men-only days.
