The Promoter

The Prize

The winner will be contacted within 48 hours of the competition closing via Instagram.
The prize is valid for three months after the winner has been contacted.
The prize is subject to availability, non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable. The prize for this Prize Promotion will be given to the winner as set out in these terms and conditions. The winner must accept the prize in that form. There is no cash alternative. No alternative will be offered.
In the event of cancellation by the winner, for whatever reason, no alternative prize will be given.
Starlight Freud Wellness Clinic retain the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event that the original prize offered is not available.
The Promoter will not be held liable for a prize if it does not reach the winner for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
The winner uses the prize at their own risk.

Entrants
Entrants must reside in the UK and be aged 18 or older. The person taking the test can not pregnant or breastfeeding.
Employees and agents of APL Media Limited (APL) or any company connected with the production or distribution of a promotion or any of their associated companies are not eligible to take part in the applicable promotion, nor are their relatives or members of their families or households.
Entrants can enter the Prize Promotion only as specified in these terms and conditions.
The winner may be required to provide the Promoter with the form of proof of identity as Promoter in its sole discretion requests before receipt of any prize. Failure to produce sufficient evidence as to identity may result in disqualification.
No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or entries automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries will be accepted. Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions (including instructions) will disqualify any entrant from taking part in the Prize Promotion and the entry will be invalid. The Promoter retains sole discretion to refuse entrants the right to enter if it feels that these terms and conditions are not being complied with or for any valid and justifiable reason.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or winner and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time in its absolute discretion.
Entries and Prize draw

The Prize Promotion closes at 5pm BST on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. All entries must be received before this time. Only one entry per named entrant and email address will be accepted. The winner will be drawn at random from valid entries received before the closing date.
The winner will be contacted within 48 hours of the competition closing via Instagram. Once notified, the winner must reply within 48 hours.
If the selected winner is unreachable, ineligible, disqualified or fails to claim the prize within 48 hours of notification being sent by the Promoter, that winner automatically forfeits the prize.
The Promoter’s decision in this Prize Promotion is final and legally binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prize Promotion
No purchase is necessary for entry in the Prize Promotion.
Any entry made giving another person’s (or a false) name or other dishonest information will be disqualified.
Publicity and Personal Data
All personal data submitted by an entrant in connection with this Prize Promotion is submitted voluntarily. All personal data collected from entrants will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of administering the Prize Promotion and by entering this Prize Promotion, entrants’ consent to Promoter using this information to contact them in respect of the prize.

Star Freud Wellness Clinic’s Terms and Conditions
The person taking the test has to be over 18 years old.
The person taking the test is not pregnant or breastfeeding.
For each of the Essential Health Check, Cortisol (Stress) Test, and Menopause Test the person taking the test is aged eighteen years or over; and for each of the Female/Male Hormones Test the person taking the test is aged twenty years or over. For all of these tests, the person taking the test understands that if the small label is not completed and attached to the blood sample tube then they will not receive any results..
For the Essential Health Check, the person taking the test has fasted overnight for more than 8 hours (water only) before providing the blood sample; the person taking the test understands that if less than 600μL of blood is provided they may receive limited or no results.
For the Cortisol (Stress) Test, the person taking the test understands that if less than 400μL of blood is provided they may not receive a result; and confirms that they are not taking glucocorticoids (a type of steroid) – if in doubt then ask a GP or Pharmacist; the person taking the test understands that the test has to be done before eating and as soon as possible after they wake up in the morning; and that they must take the test between 6am and 10am OR within three hours of waking if their work shift patterns; the person taking the test understands that they must not exercise between waking and taking the test; the person taking the test understands that oral contraceptives and hormone replacement therapy may increase cortisol levels; the person taking the test understands that their sample should be taken on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and the sample posted the same day.
For the Inflammation (CRP) Test, the person taking the test understands that if less than 400μL of blood is provided they may not receive a result; the person taking the test understands that the test should not be taken if they have an acute infection such as a cold, flu, or a dental infection as CRP levels may be high and may mask any underlying inflammation. Instead, they should wait for at least a week after feeling better. If they are concerned about acute infection symptoms then they should visit a GP; the person taking the test understands that CRP levels can rise after an intense burst of exercise, so the test is best carried out at least 24 hours or more after a work-out; the person taking the test understands that oral contraceptives and hormone replacement therapy may increase CRP levels; the person taking the test understands that the sample should be taken on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and the sample posted the same day.
For the Menopause Test, the person taking the test is female and the person taking the test understands that if less than 400μL of blood is provided they may not receive a result; the person taking the test understands that they should not take this test if they are taking hormonal contraception or hormone replacement therapy (HRT); and if they are still having periods (cycling), then the person taking the test understands that the finger-prick blood sample must be taken on Day 3 of their cycle (where Day 1 is the first day of their period). If they are not cycling, then the sample can be taken at any time. The person taking the test understands that some medications can alter female sex hormone levels. If in doubt, then They should ask their GP or Pharmacist; The person taking the test understands that they should not take biotin supplements for 2 days prior to taking this test. If they are taking prescribed biotin, then we advise that they discuss this with their GP or Pharmacist first.
For the Female Hormones Test, the person taking the test confirms that their sex at birth is female, and are not taking any fertility treatment, oral contraceptives, or hormone replacement therapy. If they are still having periods (cycling), then the person taking the test understands that the finger-prick blood sample must be taken on Day 3 of their cycle (where Day 1 is the first day of their period). If they are not having periods, then the sample can be taken at any time. The person taking the test understands that they should take their sample in the morning and post the same day. The person taking the test understands that they should not take biotin supplements for 2 days prior to taking this test. If they are taking prescribed biotin, then we advise that they discuss this with their GP or Pharmacist first. The person taking the test understands that if less than 600μL of blood is provided they may not receive their results.
