Heading out for Easter lunch this year? Whether you’re craving a traditional spread or something a bit more unusual, a select crop of hotels, restaurants and venues are offering one-off brunches, roasts and afternoon teas to make your celebration memorable.

Easter afternoon tea at RAILS, Great Northern Hotel, King’s Cross

The Great Northern Hotel’s modern cafe and restaurant, RAILS London is renowned for classically British afternoon tea and Sunday brunch in a chic, Parisian-style setting. This Easter, the restaurant’s offering a traditional afternoon tea with unlimited loose-leaf teas from East India Company. Enjoy spring lamb arancini and delicate finger sandwiches, followed by Easter-inspired sweets like carrot cake, spiced orange macarons, milk chocolate strawberry tarts and Simnel cupcakes. To top it off, freshly baked scones and hot cross buns will be served with strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream.

Price: From £41.50 per person. Available 17-21 April between 1pm-5pm.

Caribbean roast at Fenchurch, Sky Garden, City of London

If you’re looking to switch up your Easter lunch tradition, why not combine fine dining with Caribbean flavours at Sky Garden’s Fenchurch restaurant? Live entertainment sets the scene while you enjoy snacks and starters like sweet potato milk bread and a curried lamb pita, accompanied by a tropical rum punch. Designed by chef Kerth Gumbs, the roast offers a choice of five Caribbean-inspired dishes, followed by a classic Anguillan coconut tart to finish.

Price: £75 per person for four courses. Available Easter Sunday from 12pm.

‘All you can sip’ brunch at Sticks n Sushi, Shoreditch

For a fun twist on your Easter brunch plans, Sticks’n’Sushi Shoreditch is offering a Sakura edition of its popular ‘All You Can Sip’ brunch. Enjoy a range of sushi favourites, including beef tataki, karaage, ebi bites, maki rolls and grilled sticks, as well as unlimited drinks and live music from resident DJs. The Sakura Dew cocktail adds a seasonal touch, along with options like Kimchi bloody marys and Mio Sake. Collet Champagne Brut is also available for an additional charge of £18 per person.

Wild, foraged-ingredient Sunday roast at Bingham Riverhouse Hotel, Richmond

Fancy a stroll down the Thames after your Easter lunch? Bingham Riverhouse Hotel sits perched on a sun-soaked bank of the River Thames in picturesque Richmond town. The hotel’s restaurant offers a menu of dishes made from wild and foraged ingredients, garden-grown botanicals and innovative low-waste additions. The Sunday roast menu includes seasonal starters like wild rabbit rillettes with juniper wild mushroom ketchup and mains like organic chicken with truffled mushrooms and beef with horseradish jus.

Price: £48 per person for two courses, £58 per person for three courses. Available Sundays 12pm-5.30pm

Lamb Easter specials at Rick Stein Restaurants, London

If tradition serves you best, let lamb take centre stage. Rick Stein restaurants are offering a range of seasonal specials. Rick Stein Barnes (London) will be serving up tender lamb with dauphinoise potatoes and a melange of peas, beans and seasonal wild garlic, while other Rick Stein venues will be offering the likes of lamb with a fricassee of spring vegetables (St Petroc’s Bistro and Rick Stein Winchester), and a fragrant lamb and cardamon curry (Rick Stein’s Cafe).

Price: From £22.95, mains differ at each site. Available 18-21 April from 12pm.

Easter afternoon tea at Winter Garden Restaurant at The Landmark London, Marylebone

For chocolate and sweet lovers, The Landmark London hotel’s Winter Garden Restaurant’s Easter sweet treat selection is a must. Easter Afternoon Tea includes a Yorkshire rhubarb tartlet, white chocolate mousse, Valrhona dark chocolate choux and an exotic fruit pavlova, served alongside freshly baked apricot and chocolate chip scones with Cornish clotted cream, preserves and salted pistachio ganache. To balance out the sweet, a selection of sandwiches, including smoked Scottish salmon and poached chicken with soft herb mayonnaise and creme fraiche, completes the spread.

Price: £70 per person, or £83 per person with a glass of Champagne Taittinger Brut Reserve NV. Available 7-21 April 2.30pm-5pm (from 1pm Saturday and Sunday).

Swedish-inspired Easter Roast at Ekstedt at The Yard, Westminster

Add a Nordic twist to your Easter roast at Ekstedt at The Yard, Niklas Ekstedt’s first restaurant outside of Sweden. Its signature Sunday Roast — exclusively cooked over an open fire — is undergoing a seasonal upgrade for Easter. The centrepiece of a succulent lamb shank is braised in ale and wild garlic before being cooked over an open flame to enhance the depth of flavour. All served with traditional trimmings and Swedish sides.

Price: £35 per person. Available Easter Sunday from 12.30pm.

The shabby chic interior and farm-to-fork dining approach of The Shed have firmly established it as a Notting Hill institution, with a menu focused on hyper-seasonal, wild foraged ingredients and homegrown produce. Never missing a chance to celebrate seasonal occasions, The Shed has designed a special menu featuring Easter-inspired delights such as Sussex spring lamb saddle with mushroom duxelles stuffing and crab crumpets. along with the Gladwin’s signature mini mushroom Marmite eclairs.

Easter Sunday buffet brunch at Lanes of London, London Marriott Hotel Park Lane, central London

Experience a relaxed, family-friendly buffet brunch at Lanes of London, complete with live music, Easter activity books for the kids and bottomless bubbles for the adults. Live chef stations will offer a choice of roast beef or chicken, along with a range of starters and sides, from prawn cocktail with caviar to eggs Benedict. Spanish inspired boozy brunch at Bar + Block, London and nationwide

This Easter, Bar + Block is offering a relaxed bottomless brunch with a Spanish twist. It’s a great way to spend time with friends and family while enjoying three tapas plates, along with 90 minutes of prosecco and sangria. For an extra £10, you can also choose to upgrade to unlimited martinis or mojitos. It’s a simple and enjoyable way to experience some Spanish flavours without leaving town. Sunday roast at The Brush East London Grand Café, Hoxton

The brand new Sunday roast menu at The Brush East London Grand Cafe is the perfect way to celebrate Easter. Choose from main roast dishes including striploin of beef with thyme gravy or mushroom wellington with roast onion gravy. Accompanied, of course, with all the usual trimmings of Yorkshire puddings, beef fat potatoes, cauliflower cheese and roast carrots. For bookings on Easter Sunday itself, there’ll be a rump of lamb special served with mint sauce and rosemary gravy.
