To raise awareness of women’s involvement in sports, while empowering more to pursue its health benefits, Living360 has launched its Made to Move campaign.

Focusing on the three key barriers preventing women from getting more active — clothing, nutrition and menstruation — the campaign presents deep dives into each topic through a series of online features.

These are complemented by interviews with leading women in the sport, including Olympic medallist Lizzie Deignan and Fara Williams, former player for England women’s national football team, the Lionesses.

The campaign opened with an exposé on how men were mainly considered in research for the effects of nutrition on sporting performance, including insight from registered nutritionist Dr Hazel Wallace on how to fuel properly as a woman for high-intensity movement.

Next, the campaign will be delving into the best local clubs and teams for women across a variety of sports, as well as how women can adapt their training regimes to better cater to their cycles. Readers should also be on the lookout for two exclusive competitions coming up, with one launching on 1 August.

“Living360 is dedicated to helping readers realistically integrate wellness into their lives, and the Made to Move campaign is a great example of this. Through thoughtful editorial, interviews and collaborations with brands that are paving the way in women’s health and fitness, this campaign will help to bridge the gender gap and spotlight a new side of women in sport.” Anna Evdokimou, acting editor of Living360.
