From fibre-rich fizzy drinks to protein-packed picky bits, Marks & Spencer’s latest launches prove that convenience and nutrition can go hand in hand this season.
There’s a reason Marks & Spencer remains a firm favourite on the British high street —especially when it comes to food.
The retailer has carved out an identity for launching creative products that go instantly viral, including the Strawberries & Cream sandwich and Chunked N’ Loaded cookies. With the arrival of its spring/summer range (and even an M&S-backed National Picky Bits Day on 27 June), the supermarket is once again setting the tone for seasonal eating.
But beyond the hype, which of the latest Foodhall launches actually deliver on nutrition as well as taste? Living360 has taste-tested the range to bring you the standout picks.

Best healthier picky bits
Edamame and Butterbean Crush
This may resemble guacamole at first glance, but it’s nutritionally a different beast. Packed with edamame and butterbeans, it’s naturally high in plant protein and fibre —key for satiety and gut health. The addition of lemon, lime, spinach and coriander keeps things fresh and vibrant, while olive oil adds heart-healthy fats.
I found it to be a genuinely nourishing dip that doesn’t compromise on flavour — creamy, zesty and moreish.

New York Deli Dipper
This snack pairs British beef pastrami with sharp, tangy cornichons. It delivers a satisfying savoury hit and the fermented pickles support normal gut health, thanks to their brine.

Flip & Dip
Available in Creamy Red Pepper and Creamy Basil, these creamy dips combine full-fat cheese with Greek yoghurt. While richer than some alternatives, the yoghurt adds protein and gut-friendly cultures.
A balanced indulgence; creamy and satisfying with a subtle nutritional edge.

Fiery Pickles
These gherkins and jalapeños in chipotle brine are an excellent flavour booster — my mouth is watering just thinking about them.
Bold, spicy, smoky and addictive, they’re ideal for elevating salads and sandwiches.

Greek Style Bean Pot
Cannellini and pinto beans form the base of this Mediterranean-inspired pot, delivering around 10g of protein plus plenty of fibre. Feta and Kalamata olives add depth and healthy fats, while the vinaigrette keeps it light.
This is a well-balanced, savoury option that feels both wholesome and satisfying.

Best healthy breakfast and sweet snacks
Creamy Banana Pudding Overnight Oats
With 17g of protein, this is a strong breakfast contender. Oats and chia seeds support normal digestion, while banana adds natural sweetness. The caramel and custard-style yoghurt elevate it into dessert territory.
Ideal for a grab-and-go breakfast when you want something comfortingly sweet yet light.

Strawberry and Creme Chia Pudding
A gut-health hero, thanks to the combination of chia seeds and kefir. Expect omega-3 fats and fibre in one pot.
I found this light, fresh and subtly sweet, perfect for a nourishing snack or dessert.

Healthier everyday staples
Nutrient Dense Super Seeded Oaty Sliced Bread
With 6.6g of fibre and 6.7g of protein per slice, this loaf punches well above its weight nutritionally. Seeds add healthy fats and micronutrients, making it a great choice to pair with the above dips.
Nutty and filling, this is the best thing since, well, sliced bread.
Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray
Olive oil is a cornerstone of heart-healthy diets, and this spray format helps with portion control — often the biggest challenge when using oils.

Best for functional drinks
Pop Marks
I think this one is going to go viral. Inspired by US brand Poppi, seen all over US influencers’ TikTok, these sodas take things further with 7 grams of fibre per can. That’s a significant boost for gut health in a fizzy drink format, with flavours like Tropical and Mandarin & Yuzu.
Refreshing, lightly sweet and a genuinely functional soft drink in a cute can that I’d add to my Instagram story.

Brain Food Super Smoothie
Blending coconut milk with banana, apple and guava, this smoothie delivers natural sweetness alongside added magnesium, zinc and vitamin B12 — nutrients linked to normal energy levels and normal cognitive function. This is a smart choice for busy mornings.
