If you’ve committed to Dry January and made it this far, we salute you. It’s not always easy going sober, even if temporarily — especially when not everyone is in the same boat.
But ditching alcohol doesn’t have to mean settling for tap water or bland alternatives. In fact, it can be the perfect opportunity to explore new places and experiences, with some venues even creating entire menus dedicated to Dry January nights out.
We’ve rounded up the best bars and restaurants in London serving up delicious mocktails and alcohol-free drinks to help you plan fun-filled sober nights for the rest of the month.

1. Sky Garden, City of London
Known for its stunning cityscape views, Instagram-worthy Sky Bar is offering a range of alcohol-free drinks this January. Try the Apple and Saffron Sour, a crisp mix of Everleaf Forest, tonka bean syrup and apple and lime juice, or the Cherry Blossom Collins with Everleaf Mountain, cinnamon syrup and ginger ale. For something herbal, the Bergamot and Rosemary Highball combines Everleaf Marine, rosemary syrup and lemon juice. Pair your drink with a glass of Noughty’s alcohol-free wines, including their Sparkling Chardonnay or Syrah.

2. Bar Antoine, Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane
Mayfair hotspot Bar Antoine is offering a range of unique vegan and alcohol-free Allénotics, bringing a twist to classic cocktails. Top chef Yannick Alléno’s take on the classic G&T uses his renowned extraction technique, blending refreshing and inventive plant-based flavours. Four distinctive mocktails are on offer, including the Purple, made with No.3 Gin, beetroot, mirin fermentation and London Essence tonic water.
3. Bōkan 38, Canary Wharf
Enjoy expertly crafted mocktails curated by bar manager Generoso D’Avino at award-winning, sky-high restaurant and bar, Bōkan 38, while admiring magnificent views of London’s skyline. Options include a tropical Mango Blaze with mango puree, lime sage and chilli cordial with lime juice and agave, topped up with ginger ale; and a fragrant Saffron Heights with Everleaf forest, lemon and ginger tea with lemon juice and honey. For those missing their favourites, you can also opt for alcohol-free Peroni or prosecco as you relax and take in the view.

4. UBA, Shoreditch
UBA restaurant is swapping cocktails for mocktails, crafting all drinks from Everleaf no-alcohol spirits. The Coastal Zen is a refreshing mix of Everleaf Marine, shiso, apple, cucumber and yuzu, while the Jasmine Spritz is made with Everleaf Marine, green tea, jasmine, peach and soda. For a tropical twist, the Sakura Bliss blends Everleaf Forest, strawberry, coconut, pineapple, yuzu and foamer. Enjoy these mocktails alongside pan-Asian vegan sharing plates for the perfect January treat — completely free from meat and alcohol.
5. Kapara, Soho
With a new menu that features a Nogroni, plus a non-alcoholic picante, G&T and pina colada, Kapara restaurant aims to curb any alcohol temptations. Alongside mocktails, sip on the restaurants’ signature gazoz list — a house-made syrup made from leftover vegetables, fruit, herbs, spices and flowers and then topped up with soda. Designed to reduce waste, gazoz can be enjoyed in a variety of flavours, including orange, chilli and coriander and rhubarb and ginger, along with no added sugar varieties, including grapefruit and lemon and lime leaf flavours. Drink options are available alongside the a la carte menu and a new Veganuary menu.

6. Clays, Canary Wharf
London’s premier destination for virtual shooting, Clays bar is the perfect spot for a Dry January or Veganuary outing with friends. Enjoy a selection of refreshing mocktails like the Clayers Club (Everleaf Marine, raspberry and cranberry tea syrup, spiced cranberry juice, lemon juice), CosNopolitan (Everleaf Mountain, strawberry, rosehip aperitif, cranberry juice, lime) and Forest Fire (Everleaf Forest, saffron, vanilla, fresh chilli, honey, elderflower). Or try the Spiced Apple Mule with Everleaf Forest, caramel syrup and spiced apple juice. Plus, if you’re also doing Venguary, indulge in loads of vegan dishes while you sip on your mocktails.
7. Archive & Myth, Leicester Square
Hidden beneath London’s iconic Leicester Square, Archive & Myth’s secret, chamber-like bar under the Hippodrome celebrates classic cocktails and exceptional creations. This January, the team are inviting cocktail enthusiasts and the sober-curious alike to experience ‘High Spirits: Low ABV’, a takeover series dedicated to the no- and low-alcohol category. The series features exclusive bar takeovers from celebrated UK cocktail bars: Ego Death (Manchester), Bench (Sheffield) and Hey Palu (Edinburgh), showcasing alcohol-free versions of its signature cocktails in collaboration with ABV-free spirit brands Real Drinks, Everleaf, The Pathfinder and Seedlip. The next events take place on 21 and 28 January.
8. Sam’s Riverside, Hammersmith
A beautiful brasserie overlooking the Thames in Hammersmith, Sam’s Riverside is offering three refreshing new cocktails for Dry January. Enjoy the Fig Leaf & Rosemary Spritz (£9.50), a blend of Seedlip Garden, rosemary cordial and fig leaf soda, or the Not So Picante (£9.50), made with Botivo, green tea, jalapeños, lime, coriander and agave for a zesty kick. The Smoky Healer (£10) offers a unique, smoky twist. You can also enjoy a menu of meat, fish and seafood dishes prepared with produce from artisan suppliers, specially picked by Sam himself.
9. Studio Five, Wembley Park
Modern restaurant and live music venue Studio Five at the Troubadour Theatre in Wembley Park, also home to the roaring success of Starlight Express, offers a stylish setting where you can enjoy a range of alcohol-free alternatives, including mocktails. Among the highlights is the First Class Fizz, a refreshing mix of ginger beer, lemon juice and fresh mint, perfect for pairing with a meal or enjoying on its own. Another standout is the Elderflower Elixir, combining elderflower cordial, blackcurrant puree, lime juice and sparkling water, creating a vibrant, colourful drink that’s as sweet as it is visually appealing.
