Pantone has announced its colour of the year, and it’s one we can get on board with.

Each year, Pantone announces its highly anticipated Colour Of The Year. The concept directly influences branding, marketing and creative decisions for companies across the globe, with Pantone-inspired collections usually cropping up at the start of the year.

This year, it’s a perfect opportunity for beauty brands to get involved. Pantone took to Instagram to name 2024’s Colour of The Year, dubbed ‘Peach fuzz’. In the post, Pantone described the colour as ‘a velvety, gentle peach whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body and heart’.

While peach is by no means a new colour for the beauty world, we do expect to see a lot more peach-hued beauty launches throughout 2024, from blushes to lip glosses and everything in between. So, without further ado, here’s our favourite peachy products to stock up on now, so you can be bang on trend throughout 2024.

VIEVE Sunset Blush Balm

Luckily, peach blushes flatter most skin tones, from fair to deeper tones. Those with paler skin will want to opt for a more pink-toned peach, while coral-toned peaches work great for darker skin tones. The VIEVE Sunset Blush Balm is a great way to incorporate the hue into your everyday makeup routine, and is available in three peachy hues (though Pesca is probably closest to Pantone’s peach fuzz). Blurring the lines between a highlighter and a blush, the liquid formula seamlessly blends into cheeks, and has just the right amount of shimmer, so you’ll be left looking glowy, not glittery. cultbeauty.co.uk

Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows Eyeshadow Palette

Blessed with green or blue-hued eyes? Warm brown-, orange- or peach-toned eyeshadows will make them pop. Fenty Beauty’s Snap Shadow palette in Peach contains six gorgeous, Pantone-inspired shades, including three shimmer shades and three matte colours. The latter can be seamlessly blended across the lid for a perfect daytime look, while the glitter shades should be pressed in with your fingertip for ultimate colour payoff that will last you all night long. harveynichols.com

Anua Peach 77 Niacin Enriched Cream

Aside from being pretty to look at, (actual) peaches are packed with skin benefits, it would seem. Anua’s Peach 77 Niacin Enriched Cream combines ceramide, collagen and panthenol — all incredible skincare ingredients in their own right — with 77% peach extract. Said to help achieve a dewy, glowing complexion, this gel-like formula allows for quick absorption with less stickiness than standard moisturises and is great for use on its own or underneath makeup. Plus, it’s made up of solely organic ingredients in a bid to minimise harmful lasting effects on the skin. yesstyle.com

Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder

TikTik creator @makeupbylexh took to the social media platform recently to share her frustrations over a lack of peach-toned setting powders available from beauty brands. In the past few years, we’ve seen both yellow and pink toned under eye powders become popular, so how about peach? Luckily, Huda Beauty seemed to have answered her prayers with the launch of its Easy Bake Loose Powder in shade Peach Pie. Ideal for setting makeup — especially under eye concealers — and baking, the peach-coloured powder will be perfect for brightening under eyes and evening out darker complexions, without having to worry about creasing or flashback. cultbeauty.co.uk

Lixir Skin The Good Skin System

Although the formulas themselves aren’t peach coloured, the packaging of Lixir’s products are, and they’re incredibly aesthetically pleasing, too — and who doesn’t want something that looks good in their skincare cabinet? The Lixir Good Skin System contains a brightness boosting 50ml vitamin C paste, an 100ml Electrogel Cleanser to effectively remove makeup and detox the skin in the evening and an 100ml Universal Emulsion, to keep skin hydrated, glowing and plump throughout the day. Peaches & Cream Peach Cream Blush

‘Peach’ not only by name but by nature, too, this radiant blush from Peaches & Cream is the perfect way to channel the ‘peach fuzz’ trend. Whether you prefer a sheer flush of colour or a deeper flush, the buildable formula can be built up intensity, and can be worn on the eyes and lips as well. prettylittlething.com

Revolution Pro Goddess Glow Oil Soleil

If you didn’t already know, lip oils are the hot new thing – designed to be a hybrid between a gloss and a balm. This formula by Revolution Pro not only provides a high-shine, glossy finish, but also keeps lips moisturised, soft and nourished year-round, thanks to a blend of plant-based cherry, raspberry and jojoba oils. The ‘Soleil’ shade is the most closely matched to Pantone’s Peach Fuzz and gives a barely-there flush of colour that’s perfect for day-to-day wear. prettylittlething.com

Tom Ford Bitter Peach Eau de Parfum

Want to smell like a peach? Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach Eau de Parfum is both sweet and sensual, without being too overpowering. The scent consists of peche de vigne and Sicilian blood orange on a base of patchouli, which dries down into an intoxicating scent of ripe peaches. The scent is quite strong, so you’ll only need a pump or two — spray directly onto pulse points and you’ll smell good enough to eat. lookfantastic.com

Pixi Correction Concentrate

If you suffer from dark under eyes, peach tones should be your BFF. Orange lies on the opposite side of blue on the colour wheel, so works best at covering and cancelling out blue bags associated with tired under eyes. Pixi’s Correction Concentrate is a highly pigmented camouflage cream that works to minimise darkness while softening and blurring fine lines. Simply dab on with your ring finger or blend in with a fluffy concealer brush for a wide-awake look, even if you were partying the night before. pixibeauty.co.uk

Guerlain Kisskiss Bee Glow Honey Tint Balm

Peach lipstick is the perfect transitional lipstick shade — a far cry from the dark red and neutral shades of winter, but not quite a summery pink, either. It can also bring warmth to the face, if you pick the right shade. If you want to get involved, but have never worn a peach lipstick before, or are worried about taking the plunge, this tinted balm from Guerlain is the perfect choice. Formulated from 98% natural origin ingredients, it gives a 24-hour boost in hydration, as well as a nourishing flush of colour that can be topped up throughout the day. cultbeauty.co.uk
