A new season is often accompanied by renewed enthusiasm for wellbeing, so why not make it a shared experience? This summer, connect with others and try new things at London’s assortment of wellness events.

A sense of community, education, personal growth and meeting likeminded individuals are all crucial to wellbeing, especially if you’re living in a big city like London. And in a place that inspires dogged devotion to ‘the grind’, wellbeing is, understandably, reasonably high on many people’s priority lists.

Be it yoga in a park or the relentless pursuit of personal development, there are many ways to nurture mind, body and spirit. Here, we pick out the best events where you can do just that over spring and summer in the city.

Free Your Soul art retreat, Richmond

When: 26 April, 10.30am to 5.30pm

Bingham Riverhouse’s wellness space Bhuti is hosting an art retreat designed to help attendees let go and enjoy themselves through fun, play and creativity. Led by energy healer Sama Trinder, artist Lou Hamilton and award-winning chef Vanessa Marx, it’s a full day of experiences that aim to stimulate all five senses — expect to be barefoot at points, engaging in colourful play and eating nourishing chef-prepared food.

Wellness workshops and live performances, Marylebone

When: 15 and 16 May, 6pm to 10pm

Interdisciplinary artist Kamila CK’s The Circle of Everything is a live meditative performance centred on the Zen practice of Enso painting, where a circle is created in one breath and brushstroke. Held at The Cockpit in Marylebone, it blends movement, aerial performance and live painting to explore the themes of presence, energy and interconnectedness. This is followed by her exhibition The Cosmos Within at the Firepit Gallery, featuring a programme of workshops, breathwork sessions and Zen Enso circle painting.

Breathwork and ceremonial cacao workshop, Sacred Tones, Fulham

When: Saturday 16 May, 1pm to 3pm

Led by breathwork and sound practitioner Thalia Jones, this Sacred Tones wellness workshop is structured to help attendees release stress, tension and anxiety and reconnect with their body. After a ceremonial cacao, Thalia guides the class through conscious breathwork, somatic bodywork and energetic healing — ideal for anyone seeking a reset or help reaching restorative restful state.

Mind Body Spirit Festival, Olympia London

When: 22 to 25 May

Now in its 49th year, Mind Body Spirit Festival is running a programme of talks, workshops and live performances. Headline speakers include bestselling author Theresa Cheung, writer Lynne Franks OBE and entrepreneur and wellness expert Liz Earle, exploring topics such as wellness, personal growth, spirituality and finding inner wisdom. The festival runs over three days, but you can browse the schedule and select tickets for the days you’re most interested in, or buy a ticket for all three.

Recode full-day retreat, We the Conscious Studio, Hackney

When: 16 May, 10am to 5pm

A full-day event covering subjects such as unwanted emotional patterns and cycles of self-sabotage, the Recode day retreat aims to get attendees to reflect on the way they think, behave and move through life. Using a combination of conscious connected breathwork, positive intelligence (PQ) coaching, somatic movement and hands-on creative practices, it’s designed for people who are ready to change, seeking catharsis and want to explore patterns at their root.

Summer Solstice cacao, yin yoga and gong bath, The Life Centre, Notting Hill

When: 18 June, 7.30pm to 9pm

The Life Centre in Notting Hill runs a range of wellness events weekly, ranging from baby massage courses and crystal rejuvenation to mindfulness practices and nervous system resets. Their Summer Solstice session includes a cacao ceremony, yin yoga and a gong bath, providing a peaceful setting to celebrate the changing seasons, reflect on the past and set intentions for the months ahead.

Health Optimisation Summit, Business Design Centre, Islington

When: 11 to 13 September 2026

Bringing together top health enthusiasts and experts from around the globe, this summit aims to explore the cutting edge of health and wellness. Expect talks and workshops on topics such as biohacking, longevity, fitness, functional medicine and the latest in preventative healthcare. Attendees will have the chance to engage with world-class speakers, discover high-tech gadgets — from Sunlighten saunas and ice baths to PEMF and IV therapies — and get insights on what the experts think of various supplements and foods.

AllBright’s Live Well Festival 2026, Old Sessions House, Farringdon

When: 25 September

AllBright’s one-day festival is dedicated to helping women build a life that sustains and fulfils them, whatever stage they’re at. Now in its third year, it’ll bring together leading names in health, science, business and culture who’ll deliver talks not just on wellness trends of the moment, but give practical advice on sustaining ambition, energy and health at every stage of your career. Speakers are yet be announced and tickets aren’t yet on sale, but you can join the waitlist for updates.

Outdoor yoga at London Fields Lido, Hackney

When: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout spring and summer

From May to October, London Fields Lido runs seasonal outdoor yoga sessions three mornings a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) from 8am to 9am. These classes are designed for all skill levels and ages, focusing on natural body movements, building strength and improving agility. It’s wonderful way to start your day, enjoy the outdoors and meet new people. Sessions will be available roughly a week ahead of time.
