From the big screens to decked out pub gardens — this is where to catch all the action this summer.
It’s that time of year again when London hosts one of the biggest tennis tournaments in the world. From Monday 30 June to Sunday 14 July, the Wimbledon Tennis Championships are back.
While many try (and fail) to snag tickets each year, luckily, we’re a nation that loves a good excuse to come together. And the good news? There are myriad spots across the city — and some closer to the action — where you can catch all the excitement live, and many with a summery drink in hand.

Dog and Fox, Wimbledon
Home to Wimbledon Village’s largest screen, the Dog and Fox is transforming its Sipsmith terrace into a summer hotspot draped in florals and tennis flair.
This year, amp up the fun with some Wimbledon-themed extras, like the tennis ball scotch egg, available from 30 June to 13 July. Start morning matches in style with a £27 champagne breakfast, or an indulgent afternoon tea for two (£60–£80). Expect gin cocktails, a roving Lillet spritz trolley and a Frosé machine — all set against the backdrop of Centre Court.
Strawberries & Screen, Duke of York Square
From Friday 11 to Sunday 13 July, Strawberries & Screen returns to Chelsea’s Duke of York Square for Wimbledon’s biggest weekend. Watch the men’s semi-finals and both the women’s and men’s finals on the running track opposite the Saatchi Gallery.
Traditional British snacks like strawberries and cream and drinks such as Pimm’s will be served by the Chelsea Grocer. Mini tennis sessions for children run both weekend days, while the Fine Food Market offers a variety of street food on Saturday. Bring picnic blankets or pre-book deck chairs for a little more comfort when watching the matches.

The Refinery Bankside by Drake & Morgan, across London
For a front-row feel without setting foot on Centre Court, head to The Refinery Bankside in Southwark, where one of London’s largest outdoor screens brings every serve to life. Sip on limited-edition Wimbledon-inspired green and purple matcha for the full experience.
Elsewhere in the Drake & Morgan family, you’ll find al fresco screens and sun-drenched terraces at The Parlour in Canary Wharf, The Happenstance by St Paul’s and The Refinery New Street Square in the heart of the City.
ArcadeX at Battersea Power Station
From 3-13 July at ArcadeX at Battersea Power Station, you can catch live screenings of every match from the comfort of bookable day beds on the iconic Coaling Jetty by the Thames.
With three bars and al fresco dining while you watch, enjoy global street food favourites like MANNA’s burgers, BAO’s fluffy baos, Gracey’s New York-style pizzas and Mexa’s hand-pressed tortillas, paired with Casamigos Tequila cocktails and seasonal spritzers.

Rose & Crown, Wimbledon
At the Rose & Crown, the matches are screened in a setting that’s as much a spectacle as the tournament itself. The pub’s beloved tennis ball installation returns, surrounded by lush florals and seasonal decor.
With cool serves behind the bar and a calendar of Wimbledon-inspired events, it’s a proper celebration of the annual event.
Summer by the River, London Bridge
If you fancy tuning in at an outdoor summer festival, Summer by the River is back at London Bridge for 2025. Streaming live Wimbledon coverage from 30 June to 13 July via a large, outdoor screen on the Thames, you can expect all the Centre Court drama with none of the Wimbledon queues.
Plus, every Tuesday, the festival will be showcasing family-friendly film nights and live music from emerging talents and artists.

Hand in Hand, Wimbledon
During Wimbledon fortnight, Hand in Hand offers a laid-back spot to catch the matches, with screens set up both inside and out on the terrace. In the evenings, guests can unwind with casual al fresco dining.
For those interested in beer, the pub also offers cellar tours, where landlord Andrew leads a cask ale masterclass and tasting. It’s a quieter way to take in the tournament atmosphere, whether you’re dropping by between matches or spending a slower afternoon in the Village.
The Alexandra, Wimbledon
If you can’t get a ticket, but want to get as close as possible to the action, The Alexandra pub in Wimbledon is just a stone’s throw from the courts.
The pub’s vibrant rooftop terrace is the ideal place to catch every serve and smash on the big screen, drink in hand. Expect crisp pours, a lively crowd and an electric atmosphere — no ticket required.

The Hound, Chiswick
Popular Chiswick spot, The Hound, is bringing a Wimbledon atmosphere to the west London high street. Whether you’re a tennis fan or just looking to enjoy the SW18 vibe, the pub will be showing all the matches on large screens inside.
You can also snack on a few tournament-themed specials, including 2.5l Pimm’s towers, a strawberries and cream cocktail and English strawberry trifle. Also enjoy the a la carte menu with favourites like buttermilk fried chicken, chilli cheese toastie and ham hock croquettes.
